JULY 15, 2020


  Please pray for Vickie Cook, who was in the hospital this past week. The doctor determined that she had a stroke. She will start rehab this week.

  Canterburys: Please keep Diana Groves (mother of our daughter-in-love, Tara) in your prayers. She had surgery Tuesday, and we just got a text this morning (Sunday, July 12th) from Diana’s husband stating that “things are not perfect.” Pray that no more surgery is required and that her difficulty will be eliminated. (Update: Diana is still having problems. Please continue praying they will be resolved.)

  John Kuhn Family:Jamie starts work at Madison hospital tomorrow (Monday, July 13th). Prayer of blessing and protection. Also she takes her NCLEX licensure test this Thursday evening.”

  Please keep Joy McKee in your prayers for healing. She was in a bad car accident Monday (July 6th), where she was T-boned. She is now out of the hospital and recuperating at home. She had 2 small brain bleeds, along with some cuts and bruises. She is so thankful that it was not worse.

  Reynolds: “Please pray that all of our family who can’t get out due to being at higher risk will be encouraged and know they are loved and missed. They are having to stay at home a lot longer than expected.”

Our congratulations to Justin and Angie Harrison, who are the parents of a girl. Tessa Ann was born Friday, July 10th, weighing 6 pounds and 1 ounce. Eliza Jane, Georgia, and Sadie are excited about the arrival of their new little sis.

Our congratulations are also extended to Trevvor and Stephanie Clark, who were blessed with a girl. Anne Elizabeth arrived early Saturday morning, July 11th, weighing 8 pounds. Welcoming Anne into the family are her brothers, Charles and Fredrick, and sister, Elinor.


Our sympathy is extended the Alisha “Humble” Holman and her family in the passing of her grandfather Thursday, July 2nd. His funeral was Wednesday, July 8th. Cards of sympathy may be sent to Humble’s grandmother, Mrs. Alice Martin, 3918 Timbercrest Drive, Huntsville, AL 35810 and to Humble at 6520 Marsh avenue, NW, Huntsville, AL 35806. (Humble is a relative new member and is active in our campus ministry.)

We also have some available when you enter the East Side Glass Doors for our Family Life Center. They are made out of fabric and are washable.

Instead of a Drive-by shower we will have a Walk-by shower with masks. Please come and encourage and congratulate this soon-to-be married couple. James (brother of Jared Mosley) grew up attending Central’s Elementary and Teen ministries and has been working with teens ever since.
