PRAYER REQUESTS

•  Connie Binford: “Please keep my mother, Margaret Jackson, in prayer. She has been experiencing a low heart rate and was admitted to the hospital yesterday (Saturday, September 24^th).” (Update: Mrs. Jackson was released from the hospital yesterday – September 27^th. The doctors changed her medications, and she will be wearing a monitor for the next month.)

•  Greg and Kara Cornelius: “Please pray for my family. My Uncle Larry will soon be with the Lord. Thank you.” (Update: Greg’s uncle passed away Monday, September 26^th.)

•  Dittos: “Pray for spiritual success for the Binfords in this new walk. Lord, please guide them.”

•  Vince and Karen Doran: “Please pray for our son, Ryan Doran, as he is being deployed tomorrow (Monday, September 26^th) with the Army.”

•  Kathleen Lowery: “Little Monroe, my niece’s week-old baby, will be having open heart surgery on Tuesday. Many thanks for your prayers and continuing prayers for his family; that he grows stronger for his surgery and for the surgeons who will perform his surgery.” (Update: Surgery was postponed until Wednesday as Monroe had a temperature Monday.)

•  Joy McKee: “Watching you all on streaming. You sound like the angels. Please keep praying for Tim. He is weak today (Sunday, September 25^th). Thanks for cards, prayers, and love poured out.” (Update: Tim is feeling better. He goes back to the heart doctor tomorrow – September 29^th.)

•  Stephany Moore: “I’m taking my medical boards tomorrow (Monday, September 26^th). I need prayers for wisdom and that God guides me to answer all the questions. I know I can’t pass it based of my capabilities but through God, anything is possible.” (Update: The test center postponed Stephany’s test till today, September 28^th.)

•  Tim Robinson: “Pray for those who experienced Hurricane Fiona and those in the path of Hurricane Ian.”

•  Louise Williams: “Pray for safe travels to Colorado this week and my return on October 12.”

•  Toshiko Wingard: “I want to request prayers for Doug as he is scheduled to have back surgery this Thursday at UAB Hospital. Please pray for a successful surgery and his quick recovery without any complications. Thank you.” (Update from Toshiko: “Doug’s surgery was canceled and will be rescheduled hopefully in a few weeks.”)

•  Mothers-In-Waiting: Karin Bell (11/3), Marjie Nance (1/2/23), and Kat Nambo (2/2023).

COLLEGE – Friday Night Live

There is a sign-up list posted in the kitchen for those who would like to prepare food for our Campus Ministry’s FNL. If your family or LIFE Talk is preparing the meal for any of the weeks, they invite you to join them for the entire evening if you can and get to know our college students. The only date left for this semester is November 4^th.
