PRAYER REQUESTS

The Binfords:Rylan had a low-grade fever for the last couple of days. We’re waiting on results of COVID-19 testing. Ry didn’t have a fever when she woke up this morning. Praying it stays that way all day.” (Update: Rylan does have COVID-19. Please pray for her and Gerry and Connie.)

Jamie Burns: “1) My mom (Ava Burns) was rushed to the hospital Monday, July 27th, due to pain from fluid on her lungs and extreme high blood pressure. At this time she is not being allowed any visitors. Please pray for my parents during this time. They haven't been separated like this for years. Please pray for my mom. 2) Also my sister (Beth Messier) and her daughters (Laura and Lily) have COVID. Beth and Laura are struggling with harsh symptoms. Lily seems to be recuperating. Please keep them and the rest of their household in your prayers.”

Allison Goad:“Please keep Jim Ware in your prayers as he prepares to receive a lung transplant. He is the father of my college roommate, Jordan Perry, from Harding and the family has asked for prayers for comfort and peace as they await this procedure. Jim and his wife live in Dallas and Jordan and her husband, Brandon are members at Mayfair.”

Chip Jones requested our prayers for his dad, Clyde Jones, who is in the ER at Crestwood with swollen ankles. (Update: Clyde is now home. He has a blood clot behind his right knee. The doctors have increased his blood thinners to dissolve it.)

Sam O’Hanian: “I start cataract eye surgery tomorrow followed by the second eye two weeks later. Pray that the surgery goes well and I have a smooth recovery.” (Update: Sam’s surgery went well. They would appreciate continued prayers for successful healing and for the next surgery in two weeks.)

Mike Porter Family: “Update on Mike. He is on chemo, doing well. His last blood work showed he is responding to treatment. Thank you all for your prayers and cards. We would love to be with you, but are streaming from home. Love you all.”

Grant Ralph: “My stepdad may have mesothelioma because x-rays showed that something was wrong with his lungs because he worked in old buildings in Memphis, TN in the early 2000’s and was exposed to asbestos a lot, plus one of his arms goes numb sometimes. Please help me pray for him.”

BEING THANKFUL AND SHARING OUR NEWS

We are so thankful to God for answered prayers. Our firstborn granddaughter, Miranda Hunt (daughter of Travis and Amy Hunt), was baptized Tuesday, July 28th, around 11:00 p.m. We are blessed to have been there for her physical birth and there to watch as she was spiritually born! So proud of her. Best decision she will ever make.
