We rejoice with the angels over the birth of a
new brother. David Bell, a resident of His Way, was baptized
Sunday, October 16th. Please welcome and encourage him.
PRAYER REQUESTS

Randall
Biser is in Crestwood Hospital, Room 420. They will
be evaluating him today for physical therapy after having a shoulder procedure
Tuesday, October 25th.
•
Lisa Cooper: “Please pray for Steve Pockrus, who is having an epidural Wednesday (October
26). Please pray that all will go well, and he will get the pain relief he so
desperately needs.”

Ed
Ditto: “Praise God! Regina Ralston and family
are here today (Sunday, October 23rd). God is working in her.”

Karen
Doran: “Please continue to pray for my
brother-in-law, Walt, as he is still in ICU. Also, for my sister, Jeanine
to have strength through this difficult time. Thank you.” (Update: Walt

congratulations to Willie and Jill Howell, who are the proud grandparents of a girl. Collins Reece Howell, daughter of Reece and Courtney, was born Monday, October 17, weighing 6
pounds 5 ounces.
SYMPATHY

• The Barrion Palmer Family in the passing of Tina’s father, Rodney Ellis, Thursday, October 20th. His
funeral was Sunday, October 23rd, in Hartselle, AL.
• The Baucum and Coleman Families in the
passing of Mike's father/Amanda’s, Adam’s, and Andrew's
grandfather, Charles Baucum, Monday night, October 24th. The
funeral will be Friday, October 28th, at the Hazel Green Funeral
Home. Visitation is at 1:00 followed by his funeral at 2:00 p.m. Cards may be
sent to Mike's mother, Patty Baucum, 389 Countess Rd, Huntsville,
AL 35810.
• The
family of Tim McKee, who passed away this morning (October 26th).
Visitation will be at Laughlin's Funeral Home Friday, October 28th,
from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. followed by his funeral at 1:00.

TRUNK OR TREAT
This year our Trunk or Treat event will be on
Monday, October 31st, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. We will need lots of
help with the following:
- Kitchen Helpers (We are providing hot
dogs, chips, cookies, popcorn, and water.)
- Meeters & Greeters
- Lots of Candy – Need in case some of
our cars run out.
- Decorated Vehicles (Please note if you are
decorating your vehicle, you are also providing candy to give out at your
vehicle. You will also need to be here early in order to set up and be
ready by 6:00.)
Everyone is invited to come and help in this event. Please
be praying for the church and this outreach to our community.

As has been announced the Praise and
Harmony Workshop will be January 13-15 at Central. This workshop is for
everyone. You do not need to know music theory or be able to read music. The
workshop is structured so we can learn songs by listening which is the way most
of us learned. Between now and January we need to be preparing for the
workshop. Beginning TONIGHT from 6 pm til 7 pm in the
Old Auditorium we will begin learning new songs. We would also ask that the
LIFE Talks, all various ministries, families and individuals use your time
together to for preparation. To aid in this process everyone will have access
to the Praise and Harmony website free of charge for the next 3 months.
