me.” (Update: Greta is doing well.)

family in your prayers. His wife, Rashonda, and 2 years old daughter, Charlie,
were in a bad car accident last night (Saturday, April 2nd). Charlie
only had a few scratches. His wife had to be med flight to Birmingham. She is
currently stable.” (Update: Rashonda had surgery on her hand yesterday
and is to have surgery on her face today. She is in UAB Hospital. Please
continue to keep all of them in your prayers.)
Jim Blue: “On
this beautiful day let us praise the Lord by asking Him how we can serve him.
Amen.”

Prayers are requested. Thanksgiving that the small child involved was not
injured.” (Text from Joan Hacker: “Went to eye doctor Monday in Little
Rock. I have Macular Degeneration. Not a good diagnosis but can be treated. I
will slowly lose sight. My sister has it, so it is not a big
surprise. I appreciate your interest and prayers. I am enjoying having Rose
Kuhn and friends to visit frequently. They were here last night. I watch
Central sometimes on Sunday morning. College church has worship at 9 a.m. so I
can do both.” Cards may be sent to her at 801 S. Benton Avenue, Apt. A108,
Searcy, AR 72143.)

who I didn't know about until he was 36 years old (long story) has come down
with medical problems. His kidneys are operating at 30%, his blood pressure is

SUNDAY
MORNING ASSEMBLY SERIES
THE KINGDOM OF GOD
When religious words are used frequently, they
can begin to lose their meaning by becoming too familiar. The word “Gospel” is
no exception. In our upcoming 5-week series entitled The Kingdom of God,
we’re going to unpack not just the basic meaning of the word “Gospel” but
also its implications for Christians and non-Christians alike. Why is the
Gospel considered good news? Why should I care? And even more so, why should I
share it with others?
Join your Central Family as we explore this
simple yet profound phrase and learn how it shapes every aspect of our lives.

EASTER
GATHERING
The
Timberland Trace LIFE Talk has celebrated Easter together for many years. This
year we are celebrating here at the building and would like to invite anyone
who would like to join us for an Easter Potluck. Please bring a dish to share
and filled eggs if you would like for your kids to join in on an egg hunt. Our
kids who are "too old" for the egg hunt usually play board games so
if that is more your speed come join them. This has become a favorite annual
event for us, and we would like to share it with the rest of our family.

gathering is intended to be both outreach and encouragement focused. It is
designed to reach new members, “Covid” displaced members, visitors, and anyone
seeking a time of praise and worship on a Wednesday evening. In an effort to be
sensitive to younger families who cannot stay late on Wednesdays, this
gathering will start promptly at 7:00 pm and finish at 7:30 pm. Anyone wishing
to stay until 8:00 pm can do so and fellowship with one another. During this
time, there will be singing, prayer and Scripture reading centered around
spiritual disciplines. All are welcome to
attend! If you already attend a Bible class or small group on Wednesday
evenings, please continue to do so! If not, feel free to join us in Room 200.
