THOSE IN THE HOSPITAL
Ø James Hall is back at Brookshire Health Facility
after being in the hospital.
Ø Kim Smith (former member) is in Huntsville
Hospital, MICU. Notes of encouragement may be sent Kim (and Teresa)
at 201 Darnell Place, Harvest, AL 35749.

out-patient surgery Tuesday, December 22nd. Please pray for his
complete recovery.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Ø Jim Blue: “Please pray for Jerry Copeland,
my son-in-law. He is in ICU in Florence with a serious heart condition. Please
pray for his wife (my daughter) Jenna. Pray for the entire Copeland
family.”
Ø Tony Callins: Update on James Hall – Friday,
December 18th – “I talked to one of James' doctors today. She
said that once he gets to Brookshire they will start a
once a day antibiotic treatment till December 27. If it is not working, they
will stop it before then and setup a hospice plan. The doctor said that his kidneys
are not strong enough to keep giving him that medicine.”
Ø Dittos: Please pray for the best friend of our daughter-in-law.
Stephanie, is beginning treatment for an
aggressive breast cancer. The cancer was found early, but the situation is
frightening, especially for a non-Christian.”
Ø Bill and Carol Kuhn: “Please include in your prayers our
family’s gratitude for all the prayers on behalf of Bill’s sister, Sally
Mans. She went to be with Jesus this morning.”
Ø David Nance: “I received a message from Kishore
(our missionary in Guyana) to pass along to the church: Their family is well
and the churches in Port Kaituma are meeting again. (Turu is divided into smaller groups of about 30 each which
meet at different times.) The virus is still a problem for them but it’s not as bad in Port Kaituma
now as it is in the surrounding region. He and his family send their love the
church at Central.”
Ø Joan Palmer: “Please pray for my son, Charles
Palmer, in Mobile. He is ill with lung symptoms after exposure to COVID.
Pray for his physical, and most especially, spiritual well-being. Thank you.”
Ø Grant Ralph: “My cashier and customer service
position at Speedway is quite stressful because some people are rude to me, and
I continually have to try to memorize how to do difficult transactions on the
register. This triggers anxiety and depression on me mentally. Please pray that
I will continually get more confident and be better able to memorize difficult
transactions.”
Ø Kenzie Wright: “Please pray for good results with my follow
up on the 28th with the heart doctor. And also
healing for my older sister. She had a stroke on last Sunday. Thank you.”
Ø Our Shut-ins:
Amelia Biser, Jamie Cole, James Hall, Johnny Powell,
and Bill & Sherill Townsley.
Ø Mothers-In-Waiting: Jessica
Ogle (2/4), Allison Goad (2/7), Caroline Lowery (3/16), and Anna Mosley (5/17).
Ø Our Missionaries: Denisovs
& Rahimovs (Tomsk, Russia), Kishore Etwaroo Family (Port Kaituma, Guyana), Carlos & Linda Eguizabal
(Juayua & Salcoatitan, El Salvador) & YOU (Huntsville Area)
Our sympathy is extended to the family of our
sister, Sally Mans, who passed away Sunday, December 20th. Sally is a
sister of Bill Kuhn/aunt to
John Kuhn and Suzie Nance. Cards
may be sent to Sally’s
daughter, Liz Audenaert, and her husband (Brian)
and children, 250 Jacks Road, New Market, AL 35761. There will be a memorial
service for Sally in January 2021.
THANK YOU
Thanks for your prayers and words
of encouragement concerning our family's health. We appreciate the meals,
running of errands and other ways you have supported us.
We took COVID tests again late
last week. Tony, Mary and Stephen tested negative, but
Alexandra tested positive for COVID. (Update TODAY: She now has tested
negative!) Stephen is, however, suffering from an upper respiratory ailment and
is recovering well with medication.
Keep Alex and us in your prayers
as we progress. We love and appreciate you MUCH!
