The Happy Times 2022-23 school year begins August 22. Orientation for registered students is August 16. We have a few openings in the Pre-K class for four and five years old. Contact Debbie Baucum, 256-509-6200, for more information.

Everyone is invited to join in on the fun on Friday (July 29th) beginning at 7:00 p.m. You can either play a group game in the gym – or if you’re not into sports, bring your favorite card or board game and play in the Fellowship Hall. You can also just come and enjoy the company of all. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

We would like to make the nursery and toddler care available to families for Bible class time and for assembly time. For that, we need several people. Please let Suzie Nance know at drnance@hiwaay.net or 256-653-2508 if you are available to help with those needs. Thanks!

We are providing nursery and toddler care as well as our existing childcare for the children on Sunday mornings. Children ages 0 – 4 years old have childcare during assembly and class time in three separate classroom settings according to their ages.

If you are in need of assistance with school supplies, please text Juanita Crittenden (256-426-3316). Also, if you would like to make a monetary donation to help with supplies, you may give to Juanita Crittenden or Jon Canterbury by Sunday, July 31st.

Our congratulations to Ed and Nancy Jackson, who celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary Saturday, July 23rd. Thank you for your example to all of us.

Spiritual Vision for Life: June 26 through August 28

As Christians, we are called to “live by faith, not by sight” and to “regard no one from a worldly point of view” (2 Corinthians 5:7, 16). So, do we see things the way the world sees them, or do we see things from a spiritual point of view? In this series, speakers will present lessons on several topics to help us think spiritually and see spiritually.
