PRAYER
REQUESTS
Ø Debbie
Cole: “Good
morning! Jamie, Frankie, and I are still staying 'close' to home...Jamie
has dealt with being at home pretty well. She will be starting a new injection
protocol for her daily headaches. Pray for both of us as I have never
"stuck" someone on purpose! She has another medication to try too.
They hope to improve her daily quality of life...as it is now, she has to sleep
a lot to escape the pain. I hope the assembly yesterday (June 14th)
was a safe one for everyone there. We miss you all!"
Ø The Guthrie Family: “Please pray for our Grandpop Guthrie who is in the ICU in
Delaware recovering from a stroke and heart attack. Also, pray for our Grandmom
who is unable to visit him due to COVID restrictions.”
Ø Tim and Jimi Johnson: “Please pray for Bill Everett, a friend who
has been in a coma for 3 weeks. Doctors are unable to determine why and are
reaching out to other doctors in the country for help.”

our prayers for her mom, Betty Madden, as her health is going down
quickly.
Ø Tom and Selwyn Reynolds: “Please pray for Joni Blackman’s spiritual
growth at LoveLady Center and ask God to give guidance, protection and

CAMPUS
MINISTRY UPDATE
The Campus
Ministry is excited about bringing in the second candidate to look at our
college ministry, Daniel Alavi. Daniel and his wife, Fallon,
will be with the Central family on June 18-21. There will be a church
meet/greet event on Saturday, June 20, from 11:30-1:30 at the church building.
(Please see article below entitled Campus Ministry Church Meet & Greet With
The Alavis. This will be an opportunity for
anyone to drop by and meet Daniel and Fallon. Lunch will not be
provided. Later, on Saturday, there will be a dinner/devotional event with the
college students at Mike and Lora Porters’ house from 3:00-7:00. College
students and graduating high schoolers are encouraged to participate as this will give them an opportunity to interact
with Daniel and Fallon. On Sunday, June 21, Daniel will teach in
the gym during the assembly time. His lesson will be primarily directed toward
a college audience. College students, graduating high-schoolers, and New
Beginnings folks are encouraged to attend. This will give the college
students and graduating high-schoolers a second opportunity to interact with Daniel
and Fallon. This will also give those closest in age to the Alavis
an opportunity to interact with them. Please be in prayer for the Alavi
family and their visit with us.

CENTRAL
WEDNESDAY NIGHT ONLINE SUMMER ADULT CLASSES
From June 17 through August 26 from 7:00-8:00pm,
Central will host a series of “how to” sessions. The doctor and historian Luke reported
that the early church “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to
fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42). What are
some ways that could look like in practice? Join us each week to learn and to
share! Each session will suggest some ways we can put into practice the
teachings of Jesus and the apostles. This series will be hosted online using
Zoom.
