We rejoice with the angels over the birth of 2 new brothers. Chris DeArmond, a resident at His Way, and Clay Kuhn, 11-years-old son of John and Tonda, were baptized Sunday, May 30th. Please welcome and encourage our newest brothers.
IN THE HOSPITAL
Ø Carrie Wisehart is in the Madison Hospital, Room 419 after having surgery Monday, June 7th. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.
Ø Kyearia Booker: “Prayers for my health and for my family and for the next semester of school to go smoothly.”
Ø Laurie Jarvis (mother-in-law of Michael Nance): “We would be so grateful if you would pray for our daughter, Talia (7 years). Talia has 1 ½ - 2 weeks ahead filled with some hard tests and surgery for esophageal and lower GI issues. Talia has been through many tests and surgeries in her life already, and understandably she has some anxiety as we head to Ohio. But it was Talia who reminded me (her mama) of huge truth the other day when she caught me crying about all this, and said, Why are you crying, mama? God loves you and He is with you. You are not alone! Please pray Talia will feel the Lord’s comfort and presence this week. Please pray for answers, successful surgery, and healing for Talia.”
Ø Tom and Selwyn Reynolds: “1) Please pray for Selwyn’s mom, who has a hematoma/clot that is causing a lot of pain. Pray for pain relief and quick dissolution of the clot. 2) Please pray for the Ralstons and Russell’s mom, Verda, and his step-father, Duke. They have called Hospice for Duke. Pray for peace and comfort for them all.”
Ø David Walls: “David Walls asks for Central to pray for Melanie Gibson, for healing and restoring her health.”
Ø David Williams: “Mary had a heart attack a little after midnight Friday night, June 4th. We went to the emergency room at Crestwood Hospital. One of Mary's arteries was almost completely blocked. The doctor inserted a stent into the artery. The prognosis is good. I spoke to Mary after the surgery, and she was feeling fine. She'll remain in the hospital a day or two for observation, but that's normal procedure.” (Update: Mary is now at home and doing well. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.)
Ø This request was called in and left on phone – I couldn’t make out whose mom she was: “I would like to put Nikki Clevenger on your prayer list. She is in ICU in Huntsville. She is very ill. Thank you so much.”
Ø Our Shut-ins: Bobbye Ashley, Amelia Biser, Jamie Cole, Joan Hacker, Ted Moore, Johnny Powell, and Bill & Sherill Townsley.
Ø Our Missionaries: Denisovs & Rahimovs (Tomsk, Russia), Kishore Etwaroo Family (Port Kaituma, Guyana), Carlos & Linda Eguizabal (Juayua & Salcoatitan, El Salvador) & YOU (Huntsville Area)

The teens are working with a wide variety of local organizations and charities. This is beneficial and educational for all ages.
Another way to participate is through fellowship and worship. The activity on Wednesday, June 9, will include both teens and adults in the auditorium from 7-8 pm. The lesson will be presented by Adam Brewer from the Central Church of Christ in Athens, Alabama. For those who are unable to participate in person, please feel free to participate online at https://www.handsfreemissions.org.
