PRAYER REQUESTS

Ψ  Follin Clark: “Please pray for my dad who had a heart attack and is in open heart surgery this morning (Tuesday, May 12th). Thanks.” (Update: “He came through the surgery. They were only able to do 1 bypass. The doctor said the whole right side of his heart is calcified and hasn't been doing anything for quite a while. They did a bypass on the front left and are going to do a stent on the back left on Thursday. That is all they can do. Thank you for your prayers.” 2nd Update: “The stent surgery was unsuccessful. They were not able to do a stent once they got in there. He is still better off than he was before he had the surgeries because of the one bypass. My dad has glaucoma and had already lost the vision in one eye before all this. When he got out of the first surgery he found that he could barely see out of the other eye. However his eyesight has improved some. Keep praying that his eyesight will return and for recovery from the surgeries. Also my grandmother is sick. She is very weak, and the doctor determined this was because she is extremely anemic and also has a kidney infection. Normally I would move her here with me so I could take care of her, but that is not an option right now. Pray for her to get well soon and for me to be able to find ways to provide for her needs remotely. She and my father live in MS. ”)

Our sympathy is extended to The Kuhn and Nance Families and Sally Mans in the passing of Geraldine Kuhn, from Folsom, California. She is the sister of Bill Kuhn and Sally Mans/aunt of John Kuhn and Suzie Nance. There will be no formal service. Please note: Due to Sally’s fragility and her being in the Valley View Nursing Home Residence, she will not be made aware of this until her family can be at her side. Therefore, please DO NOT send any sympathy cards to her at this time.
