Rejoice

We rejoice with the angels over the birth of 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Greg Edmonds and Jonathan Fowler, both residents at His Way, were baptized. Greg – Tuesday, April 16th and John – Monday, April 22nd.  In El Salvador Nubia Beatriz Arevalo Mendez (Friday, April 12th) and Ana Secilia Alvarez López (Sunday, April 14th) put the Lord on in baptism. Please encourage all of them.

Prayer Requests

Ø  Carla Arnold: “Please pray for my former co-worker, Kathleen Smith. She was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and she is not doing well.  She is currently hospitalized and in severe pain.”

Ø  Karin Bell: “Please keep all the students in your prayers as they enter finals season. Please also pray for me, as my last exam (Lord willing) is and next Monday (4/29). Pray I enter it with the peace that surpasses all understanding.”

Ø  Please continue to keep Amelia Biser in your prayers as she deals with her health issues.

Ø  Jennifer Funkhouser: “1) Please pray for my husband, Owen, who has been sick with bronchitis all week. Antibiotics do not seem to be helping. 2) Praise! My uncle lost his job last Friday, but was called back in and apologized to this Friday. Thank you, Lord.”

Ø  Tristian Henderson: “Just an appreciation for my great grandma, Drue Wright. She is the most amazing person out there. She is always there when you need her. She is the kindest, most loving person you will meet. Love you, Grandma.”

Ø  Please keep Nikki Holley in your prayers. She went to the ER Sunday morning (April 21st). (Update: Nikki went home that evening.)

Ø  Jamie Kuhn: “Please lift up the upcoming finals for all of us who are in college. I would especially be grateful for prayer regarding final assignments and exams as there are a lot of things to do and little time to do them in (as usual J) and it is easy to become overwhelmed. Thank you, family!”

Ø  John Kuhn Family: “Please pray as we close out Gwenyth’s case that it will all go smoothly. Thank you for praying for Tonda’s mom. Please continue to pray for her failing health and that she will come to a relationship with the Lord.”

Ø  Donna Roshell: “Join me in prayer for my supervisor’s mother, Nadja. She needs a liver transplant and her health is declining. Also pray for my supervisor, LaThoia, for strength and comfort as she is the one who’s taking care of Nadja and going back and forth to Birmingham.”
