REJOICE

We rejoice with the angels over the birth of 2 new brothers. Cole Willoughby and Jacob Neill, residents at His Way, were baptized Sunday, April 19th. Please welcome and encourage them.

WELCOME

We welcome Rachel Clark, who met with some of the elders Sunday, April 19th, and wishes to work and fellowship with us at Central. Rachel works with Chloe Raum and has been visiting with us for several months. Please welcome and encourage her.

UPDATE ON SICK

Ø  Jim Phillips is recuperating at home after having surgery last week.

Ø  Please keep Tonda Kuhn’s mother, Betty Madden, in your prayers. She was taken to the hospital Friday, April 17th, unresponsive.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Ø  Bowen Family: “1) Prayer request for RJ Bowen and his 3 roommates. They are on quarantine for the next 14 days because one of them was possibly exposed to someone who had COVID19. Prayers for the safety and well-being for all of them. 2) Prayers for Mysteree and Kaya as they have to return to work tomorrow (Monday, April 20th) in preparation for possible reopening. Prayers for safe travels for Mysteree. 3) Praise be to God on Mysteree’s acceptance into Grad School at the University of Memphis!!”

Ø  The Ben Clark Family: “We are thankful for the love and care given to us by our Central family. You have been God’s hands and feet to us. Praise God that Lily is well. Levi and Ben are better. However, Follin’s breathing is much worse. She is working closely with her doctor, and we are hoping for a positive change today (Sunday, April 19th). Pray for strength and healing.” (Update: As of today (Wednesday, April 22nd) Follin is starting to feel better.)

Ø  Sharon Ditto: “Please pray for me that I can rest on God’s promises and not elevate my own feelings in an import decision.”

Ø  The Ed Smith Family: “Prayers answered! Meghan is home safe – with her bird in tow.”

Ø  Please continue to pray for Louise Williams’ cousin,  Bettie Bumpas, who lives in Somerset, New Jersey, and Bettie's daughters. Bettie (70 years old) is diabetic and buried her mother a little over a month ago. Both of her daughters have COVID-19. The older daughter, Brenda, is not doing well and remains in the hospital. The doctors have found out that she had a massive stroke before she was taken to the hospital; but since she tested positive for COVID-19, they treated that and did not know about the stroke. The younger daughter, Clarissa, is quarantine in the house. Bettie was tested for the virus and does not have it.

Ø  Our Shut-ins: Cindy Anderson, Lorraine Baker, Amelia Biser, Jamie Cole, James Hall, Martha Jones, Sally Mans, Jim Phillips, Johnny Powell, and Bill & Sherill Townsley.

Ø  Mothers-In-Waiting: Amanda Coleman (6/12), Rachael Sherrill (6/13), Stephanie Clark (7/10), Angie Harrison (7/23), and Mishaella Ryans (10/1)

Ø  Our Missionaries: Denisovs & Rahimovs (Tomsk, Russia), Kishore Etwaroo Family (Port Kaituma, Guyana), Carlos & Linda Eguizabal (Juayua & Salcoatitan, El Salvador) & YOU (Huntsville Area)

THANK YOU

I am grateful for all that the Central Family has done for me for all the love and the support for me in my current trials. I love all of you.                           Grant Ralph

Another will take important insights from Philippians when the author himself was “quarantined”! Still other groups will adapt their format to the specific needs and desires of the group. These interactive forums will use the Zoom application. Participation requires a smartphone or a computer with videocam and microphone. Meetings nominally takes place on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm, but once groups are established, participants may set their own date and time. Each session will last 30 to 40 minutes. For those interested in being added to a Central Connections group, please contact Loren Wisehart (lwisehart@knology.net; 256-721-3359). He will help you get connected with a small group and help you with instructions on how to dial in.
