Ø Kyearia Booker: “Prayers to finish this semester off strong and prayer for my mom who has to get another blood transfusion soon.”
Ø Pat Canterbury: “My cousin, Wayne Kinman, passed away this morning, April 7th. Please keep his wife, Pam, and two daughters and their families in your prayers as they mourn his passing. So thankful that he is no longer in pain and that he is a Christian.”
Ø Allan and Chiana Evans: Sent Friday (April 2nd) – “Allan and I are asking for prayers for our family. Last Friday we went home to bury our uncle, Jonnie B. Walker, only to get back to Huntsville the next day and find out my cousin, Ursula, passed away on her birthday Saturday, March 27. We will be traveling back home tomorrow morning (April 3) for her funeral. Ursula was diagnosed with breast cancer just a few months ago in 2020. She has two daughters (27 and 22) and a son (19); please keep them in your prayers. Thank you.”
Ø Jennifer and Owen Funkhouser: “Our renovation contractor, John Wayne Bradford, and his family were hit by a tornado early last Sunday morning. Their home in Fyffe, AL was badly damaged with part of the roof being blown off and several outer walls being blown in. We have really gotten to know and love this family over the last year. John Wayne and his sons lives with us Monday through Friday while doing renovation work on our house. We have been able to show Christ to them in our daily interactions and around the dinner table. They have been through many rough times in their live and have not been shown Jesus’ love by their own families and friends but have remained kind and tenderhearted. This was a hard blow for them as they are already financially strapped and wish to remain debt free. Pray for them to see God’s love and purpose for their lives. Pray they would see their worth in God’s eyes.”
Ø Jessica Henderson: “Please pray for my friend, Laura Richards, and her family. They are having to take her 22 years old son, Micah, off of life support today (Sunday, April 4).” (Update: Micah passed Sunday.)
Ø Gail Jones: “Update on my sister, Beth. She did have a stroke and is still in a hospital in Texas. Continued prayers please.”
Ø Mishaella Ryans: “Update on my dad: Due to his brain and viral organs being without oxygen for 55 minutes while they tried to restart his heart (stopped 4 times), my dad suffered anoxic brain damage. Currently, he is dependent on a machine. The two options that the family is left with is to have him sent to a long-term care facility, where he will need a feeding tube or pull the plug and make him comfortable with medication until he passes. I am thoroughly heart broken. I understand the circumstances but I’m praying for a miracle.” (Update: Mishaella’s father passed today (April 7th).)
Ø Selwyn Reynolds: “Regina Ralston will be having surgery on her foot April 14. They will do a biopsy of her leg lymph node to see if the cancer has spread from her foot. Please pray the cancer has not spread and that they can remove all from her foot. Also pray for complete recovery and peace for her and her family during this. She wanted me to let the Central family know that she is very grateful for all the prayers!”
