THANK YOU
Dear
Central Family,
Thank you for all
your kind words of sympathy for the passing of my stepmom. The peace lily is
beautiful, and all of our family has appreciated your prayers and love through
her months of failing health and passing. Love,

Go Digital Use Online Apps Facebook
If any of these terms
intimidate, scare, or make you uncomfortable do not read the rest of this
article. If you chose to read on, please be aware that knowledge and insight
will be gained. Let’s start.
The best way to begin is
to say welcome to the digital age. Our goal is to become more efficient at
information management while not losing the personal interaction. The following
is presented to help this situation.
First, a question. Did
you know that we email the Sunday bulletin to every household in the database
each week on the Friday before? Check it out. Oh, you say I haven’t seen it.
Well, let’s see about that. Ask yourself these questions. Is my family listed
in the database as members of Central? Is the email listed in the database the
main email for your household? If you answered no to either, give our member
relations resource representatives (Juanita or Pat) a call and the situation
will be corrected.
One of the most useful
tools in Central’s digital toolbox is the ability to make your contributions
and or donations through the Online Giving app. The advantage is the process is
quick, easy and secure. Simply sign on to the Central website (www.centralfamily.org) and click the Online Giving Icon in the lower left portion of the
website. Establish your member profile
and you are set.
Facebook is our social
media platform and is the best way Central members have to interact with one
another. Central has two Facebook Accounts. One is the public site (Central
Church of Christ) and the other a private site (Central Members Private Group).
Both of these are very useful in getting and giving information. The difference
is the private group requires an invitation due to the nature of the
information contained on the site.
Online database access
is the most requested tool in the box. If you are a member, you have access to
the Central database directory. For your privacy and the privacy of others
access is by invitation only. Send a request to the Central Office and if
approved you will be sent a link and instructions on how to access the member portal.
The information mentioned above is simply an overview of the tools
available in our digital toolbox. There are obviously details which are not in
this article. If you need more information, have questions or comments please
feel free to contact one of our customer relations resource representatives
(256-534-0382) who will greet you with a live, friendly human voice with access
to all the knowledge of the Central digital world and the surrounding galaxies.
