Jameson Sarratt met with some of the elders and wants to work and fellowship with us at Central. Please welcome and encourage him.

Darrell Brown: “I’m asking for prayers that much spiritual growth will take place in my life.”

Ben Clark: “Please pray for Lily, who is now sick. Thanks that the rest of us are feeling better now.”

Lisa Cooper: “1) Praise God for the answered prayers for my brother, Greg. He is physically much better. Thank you all. 2) Please pray for my sister, Lorie, who is having back surgery. The first of a 2-part operation will be early a.m. of 12/28. The second part will be on 12/30. Thank you very much.”

Ed and Sharon Ditto: “Pray that God will give Jim and Tracy wisdom as they foster parent Rose.”

Arzell Flint: “Please pray for me that God continues to direct my path and to stay connected among the dwellers in Christ Jesus.”

Carol Kuhn: “Please continue to pray for Jamie as she heals. We are so grateful for her life and healing and for all the prayers, cards, gifts, and visits.”

Jamie Kuhn: “I am asking all the people who have prayed over me to lift up this world that many would come to know Jesus tonight. It’s just that I woke up this morning desperately wanting that, and I’ve asked the whole Living Christmas Tree choir to pray tonight as well. I’ve felt and seen the hand of God and He’s performed so many miracles on my behalf. I just know (and already knew) he could do the same for this world. He saved and healed me, and He can do the same. Thank you so so much️ I can’t tell you how much it meant to me – all the prayers. God saved me once again, this time physically. He has used this to overwhelm me with His love and heart towards me and I just wanna share it with as many people as possible and prayer has always been my favorite method with my patients. I am proof that all of y’all’s prayers are powerful and effective. Thank you all so so much!!” (Update on Jamie: Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she heals. Cards may be sent to her at her home: Since Jamie is now at her home, cards may be sent there. Her address is: 27601 Emma Drew Drive, Elkmont, AL 35620.)

Mike and Dawn Long: “My mom’s (Carolyn Mullins) back surgeries went well. Thank you for all your prayers. Please continue to pray for her recovery and therapy. We hope to have her home by Christmas.”

Michael and Marjie Nance: “Thanks be to God for the end of the School Semester and more importantly, for the opportunity to celebrate what God has done this season. Also, thanks be to God for the fact that Jamie Kuhn is home from the hospital and was able to watch the Living Christmas Tree Saturday night (December 18).”

In the Old Testament, God made some amazing promises to people like Abraham, Israel, and David. These promises established how God related with His people for centuries. In the New Testament, we find that not only do Christians inherit some of these promises, but they provide hope that is an anchor for our souls (Hebrews 6:19). In this mini-series, we will examine some of these promises and explore how they remain relevant for our lives today. This class can either be in-person in the Family Life Center or join in on Zoom. Zoom link:

The Generational Discipleship class will pick back up on January 5. Other classes will also be provided as well. More details to come!

Please note that there will be only one adult class for this coming Sunday morning, December 26, at 9:00 in the Family Life Center. Allen Wright will be teaching the lesson.

Harry Ellett (one of our shut-ins) will celebrate his birthday TODAY. Please send him a card – 1320 Monte Sano Blvd, Huntsville, AL 35801.

Our congratulations to Ed and Sharon Ditto, who will celebrate their 54th anniversary Thursday, December 23rd. Thank you for your example to us.
