We rejoice with the angels over the birth of a
new brother. Carlos Keeton, son of Rodney and SióBhan, was
baptized early Tuesday morning, November 23rd. Please welcome and
encourage him.
Ashley Baker: “Pray for my brother, James Dodson, for his mental health
as well as him finding Jesus.”
Stacey Condron: “Prayer request for my
nephew, Michael Condron. He continues to battle mental illness.
He's getting very destructive and refuses medicine and help. His parents had to
kick him out of the house because he was so destructive, and now he's living in
his car. Please pray that he can comprehend what he is doing to himself and his
family, and that he takes the help that is being offered. Pray for God's
overall strength and wisdom in this situation. And pray that God will protect Michael
and pierce his heart to seek Him. Thank you.”
Ed and Sharon Ditto: “Pray that our Elders will be given wisdom to lead us well and
that we, the church, will be good followers.”
Janice Greenleaf: “Sonja
Eads' mother, Sandy Yager, was hospitalized Wednesday due to a dangerously
low blood oxygen level. She is in Madison Hospital, Room 502. (Update: She is
still not well enough to go home. Please pray for her and for Sonja as
her only caretaker. Cards would be appreciated. Please send them to The Eads'
address: 104 Sawrock Drive, Madison, AL 35756.)
John Kuhn Family: “Please pray for our bonus daughter, Abigail Zarnesky. She was hospitalized Saturday night (November
27th) again for infection in her transplanted kidney.”
Brenda Newman: “Please pray for an employee of The
Saving Way – Ashley Lippincott, who lost her mother Sunday morning,
November 28th, due to a long-term illness.”

SUNDAY ADULT CLASS OPTIONS – WINTER TERM 2021
December 5 through February 27
1. The Story of Redemption
(Gymnasium; Coordinator: Loren Wisehart)
This series presents the biblical account of
the human problem, salvation, and a new life in Jesus Christ. Beginning with
creation, the class follows the “big picture” storyline of the Bible as it
finds meaning and completion in Jesus.
Each week, participants are invited to
arrive early for fellowship. Upon entering the gymnasium, participants will be
assisted in finding a small group. After a call to order and welcome, all
groups will watch a 5-10 minutes video. Once the video
is done, groups will read a Bible passage related to the video, discuss
questions, and pray for one another. Groups will wrap up at 9:45 am in order to
move chairs into place for the large assembly which begins at 10:15 am. Zoom

2. Women’s Ministry (Library; Coordinators:
Sue Underwood and Kim Story)
This class provides Bible-based content in a
LIFE Talk setting and is set up to minister to women who are the head of their
household and women whose husbands are not Christians. Women of all ages and
situations are welcome who wish to participate in this ministry. The class is
generally organized to alternate between Old Testament and New Testament books,
topics, and ideas. However, prayer and sharing are also integral parts of the
class. As participants begin to apply the teaching to their own lives, they are
invited to openly share burdens with one another. This is so that others who
have walked that path previously can share their own experience and wisdom in
how to face that situation faithfully. While two ladies provide the principal
oversight for the class, a number of ladies from within the class will be
encouraged to lead individual sessions, usually a week or two at a time.
WEDNESDAY ADULT CLASS OPTIONS – WINTER TERM (BEGINNING
DECEMBER 8)
New and follow-on classes are
planned to begin December 8. More details to come!
