PRAYER REQUESTS
Ryan
Bell Family: “We’d like to request prayers for our daughter, Laurie.
She tested positive for COVID on Monday (Nov 9). We’re praying the rest of us
stay healthy and that Laurie recovers soon!”
Beth
Bentley (former member) is in Huntsville Hospital with pneumonia. Please
pray for Beth, her husband (Tim) and her children.
Glenn
Binford, Jr., nephew of Gerry Binford, is in Huntsville Hospital, ICU.
Debbie
Cole: “Requesting prayers please for my brother and his wife, Bryant
and Pam Voss. Their beautiful 20 years old baby daughter was killed
Wednesday evening in a single car accident in Robbins, NC. She was just a few
blocks from home, in rainy weather and went down a steep embankment. The whole
family is heartbroken, but have the peace of knowing she loved God and was a
Christian.”
Canterburys: “1) Thank
you all for your prayers concerning our grandson’s surgery this past Wednesday.
Please continue praying that Ari does what the doctor says and that he
heals completely 2) Please pray for our 10-year-old granddaughter, Sadie Canterbury,
as she will be having heart surgery for SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardias) Friday,
November 20th, at Vanderbilt Hospital.”
Juanita Crittenden requests prayers for the upcoming test
results of her sister, Claudette Thompson. (Update: “Please continue to
keep my sister in your prayers. Recent test results show that she has stage 1
breast cancer which is progressing to stage 2. Will have to do chemo before she
can have surgery. She is to begin chemo next week. Pray that the side effects
from chemo are not too severe.” Cards of encouragement may be sent to Claudette
Thompson, 6911 Environ Blvd., Unit 5M, Lauderdale, FL 33319.)
Terri Jones: “Please pray for Aaliyah
Williams. She has a really bad sore throat and other cold symptoms. My
oldest actually came into contact with COVID. He had to quarantine, and I got
him tested after he started feeling bad. Thankfully God saw fit for his test to
come back negative. I just got over a cold myself and I worried about COVID but
not enough that I got myself tested. But this time I’m more worried about COVID
being a possibility for Aaliyah because she goes to school and the cases
are constantly rising. I just need prayers for her to feel better and for
myself to not live in fear. Thank y’all.”
Carol Kuhn: “Please pray for Bill’s
two remaining sisters. Sally Mans, who may likely be in her last days,
and Clara Tickal who has possible impending myeloma. Both sisters know
the Lord for which we are grateful.”
Fritz Nelson: “Dear Church Family, As I awake
each morning I think how blessed I am to have the freedoms we have. We don’t
have to hide as we openly worship our God and celebrate the removal of our
misdeeds. Hope all is well with you.”
Jim and LaVonne Norville: “After a lifetime of faithful
service to the Lord, as a minister and missionary, our good friend, Daniel
Hamm, went home to his eternal reward early Friday morning, November 13th.
Thank you to everyone who kept him in your prayers these past weeks. Please
pray for God’s comfort for his family.”
Grant Ralph: “Steve Lowery has not
been feeling well and is getting a test for COVID-19. He will know in a few
days whether or not he has it. Please pray for Steve and Karen for their
health and well-being.” (Update: Steve’s COVID test was negative.)
Brandon and Rachael Sherrill:
“Our sister-in-law just got word that her mother in California, who has been
battling brain cancer, has possibly hours maybe days to live. Please be in
prayer for Jordan Lamb, as she is having to travel alone with her baby
(spouse is unable to get off work) and that her mother can hold on long enough
for Jordan to be able to see her one last time. Also, prayers for Susi
Brackett to not be in pain or in fear, as well as for her husband, Steve,
and daughters to find comfort and peace in Christ during this time.” (Update: Update: “Just got word that Susi passed this morning
(Wednesday, November 18th). Jordan and Harper, the baby, are
currently on a flight to CA unaware of the news. Please be in prayer for the Brackett
family.”)
Donna Roshell request
prayers for comfort and healing as she has tested positive for COVD.
Andy Trapane: “Please pray for Chris
McBride. He is a co-worker who is having health problems that he is going
through. He is taking medication that is not going well for him. Thank
you. Hope God will bless him with good
health and keep him and his family well.”
