We rejoice with the angels over the birth of a new brother. Josh Bridgeman, a resident at His Way, was baptized Monday, November 5th. Please welcome and encourage him.

Many thanks to the congregation for prayers, cards, and the goodie gift basket delivered by Juanita Monday. Enjoyed her visit. Special thanks to the Sonrisers for the frequent cards and the beautiful flowered plant. I am “celebrating” the four-week anniversary of my knee replacement surgery today and am progressing normally I am told by my SportsMed PT attends. I am a long way from normal but getting better every day. Please continue with your prayers and well wishes. I love you all and miss being with you.

The purpose of our Central's Angel Tree is to help those who would not have a good Christmas due to financial difficulties. If you know of anyone who needs to be on our Angel Tree, please fill out the Wishlist Card located on the counter top in the kitchen and put it in the OFFICE mailbox (which is located under the stairwell) or return to the church office by TONIGHT. FAMILY VACATION RETREAT

JANUARY 18TH – 21ST, 2019

The campus ministry's annual Family Vacation Retreat is here again. This year's theme is Generations Reunion WeekendThis year is special – it’s our 10th anniversary, and we’re inviting not only current college students to attend, but alumni as well. As last year, those teens who are juniors and seniors are also invited to join. There will be a teen track with breakout classes designed for them. Rodney, our youth minister, will be going to aid in leading the trip. We really hope this will be well attended by our teens, college, and alumni. The cost is $100 per person including a $20 deposit when you sign up. If you have any questions, interested in going, or interested in helping someone to go that is financially unable, please contact D’Mitri Lewis (904-887-4006).
