  Lisa Cooper: “Pray for my brother Greg’s healing of both fractured heels and sprain wrist, and for a closer relationship with Jesus.”

  Nikki Holley: “Prayers....FINAL visit to St. Jude’s for my niece, Erin Pratt. Giving God ALL the praise! May all that they have lived through bring God the honor and Glory and someone come closer to HIM because of this."

  Graham and Rachel Ray: “A couple of weeks ago he was about to be discharged from the hospital. Now – last Friday he received “Last Rights.” Please pray for my friend, Rob and his family.

  Tom Reynolds: “Please pray for the family of Brandon Brock, a graduate of His Way, who passed away last Sunday. Also, for the family of Jean Sheadel, a long-time friend, who died this past week.”

  Louise Williams:My dad (Johnny Powell) is scheduled for outpatient surgery on Friday morning, November 5. Prayers for a successful procedure and recovery are appreciated.”

  Drue Wright: “Asking for prayers. Claudia and I both tested positive for COVID. Neither of us feel too bad.”

Important update regarding Harvest Banquet this Saturday (November 6th)! The original plan was to have Harvest Banquet outside, but it will now be held in the gym at Central. When you arrive, please enter through the glass doors on the east side of the building. We will be ready to greet you at 11:30! Join us at the Joe Wheeler State Park in 2022 and enjoy time connecting with other couples while strengthening your marriage.

SUNDAY ADULT CLASS OPTIONS – FALL TERM

September 12 through November 21 – 9:00 A.M.

Two adult classes are offered on Sundays at 9:00. Also please note that the adult classes are not livestreamed. Instead, a Zoom link is provided for access to an online small group.

1.   The Story of Redemption (Gymnasium; Coordinator: Loren Wisehart)

2.   Women’s Ministry (Library; Coordinators: Sue Underwood and Kim Story)

This class provides Bible-based content in a LIFE Talk setting and is set up to minister to women who are the head of their household and women whose husbands are not Christians. Women of all ages and situations are welcome who wish to participate in this ministry. While two ladies provide the principal oversight for the class, a number of ladies from within the class will be encouraged to lead individual sessions, usually a week or two at a time.

WEDNESDAY ADULT CLASS OPTIONS – FALL TERM

September 8 through December 1 (Thanksgiving Devotional on November 24)

Wednesday classes are at 7:00 pm. For those interested in supporting men’s and women’s ministries at that time outside of Central’s building, please contact Jim Norville and Selwyn Reynolds, respectively.

1.   Better Together (Library; Coordinator: Melinda Goad; Women only)

This class for ladies can either be in-person or zoomed. The two-fold goal is to 1) teach each other through our growing Bible study skills and 2) develop deeper relationships as we examine challenging texts. Contact Melinda Goad

2.   Generational Discipleship (Room 200; Leader: Daniel Alavi)

The Generational Discipleship class is designed to explore the wonderful ways God is moving throughout His people worldwide in order to equip one another for work of ministry that’s been divinely tasked to us.

3.   Raising Godly Kids (Room 113; Coordinator: Chad Dickey)
