THANK YOU
Dear Central,
Please accept my sincere thanks to
everyone who has sent me cards and letters recently. I also want to thank those
who have called or visited me at home.
These
have been a great encouragement during recent times, as I’m not able to leave
home or attend our assemblies and other meetings like I used to. I am mostly
staying at home now due to the Covid situation, and my difficulties with
mobility. My current health condition will not allow me to respond to each act
of encouragement individually, as much as I would like to do so. So please know
I am very much encouraged and grateful for your thoughts and prayers. I miss
you all.
In
Christian Love,
Clyde
Jones

CENTRAL MARRIAGE RETREAT 2021
The February 2021 Marriage retreat
is going digital! In lieu of having a fully in-person retreat, we are exploring
options that will allow for multiple levels of social distancing. There will be
more details to come, but for now, we would like to ask a few questions to all
the married couples at Central. Below you will find six questions pertaining to
your marriage. We ask that every couple answer as many of these questions as
possible and submit your responses for possible use in our upcoming
retreat.
Three
ways you can submit your responses (please choose one)
1.
Utilize the Google Form provided below to answer the questions.
2.
Submit your answers in an email to Pat with the subject "MARRIAGE
RETREAT RESPONSE"
3.
Film yourself and your spouse answering the questions and
email the videos to Pat.
We would love to see all the
married couples at Central share your experiences and responses to these
questions.
THE DEADLINE FOR
SUBMISSION IS OCTOBER 1ST.
1. How do you develop spiritually as a couple? List a few things that
you do.
2. How does your marriage serve as a ministry? List a few examples.
3. What are some challenges that you have faced? How did you handle these challenges as a couple?
4. How do you practice forgiveness and reconciliation with your spouse?
5. How do you prioritize quality time and romance with your spouse?
Share some examples of how you date your spouse.
Share a dream date you
would like your spouse to take you on! What has been your most fun Covid-19
date?
6. How do children, parents and extended family affect your marriage
relationship? How do you keep your marriage the priority amidst managing these
