REJOICE

We rejoice with the angels over the birth of three new brothers. Joshua “Pat” Babcock (left), Christopher “Jordan” Campbell (center), and Daniel Hohnstein (right), all residents of His Way, were baptized Tuesday, August 11th. Please welcome and encourage them.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Please keep Jamie Burns’ mother, Ava Burns, and all his family in your prayers. Hospice Care has been called in for her. Jamie and some of the family is down with his parents. Please pray for all of them during this difficult time.

Joan Palmer: “My 38 years old nephew, Thelonious  Harris, died Thursday, July 13th, with COVID related heart complications. Also request prayers for my brother, Bruce, who is scheduled for biopsy of lung, which is highly suspicious for cancer.”

Carrie Wisehart requests our prayers for her 15-year-old nephew, Sean Marquette, who is in the Oschner Hospital in New Orleans with a staph infection. “Specific prayers are for the drains and antibiotics to do their job and help get rid of the infection and for him to be able to go two day without a fever so he can go home. Thank you everyone for your prayers. They are very much appreciated.

Our Shut-ins: Cindy Anderson, Lorraine Baker, Amelia Biser, Jamie Cole, Vickie Cook, James Hall, Sally Mans, Joy McKee, Mike Porter, Johnny Powell, and Bill & Sherill Townsley.

  Mother-In-Waiting: Mishaella Ryans (10/1)

Samantha Bottomley

Thank you all for the basket of goodies. We had a delivery from Rondell Monday, August 10th! Thank you for your prayers, cards and calls. I go back to the doctor on Monday for more blood work to make sure the medicine(chemo) is working. We are praying it does. Lora will keep you posted on my progress.                                                                          Love in Him,

Mike, Lora and Loran Porter

Ms. Smith received several cards of encouragement from members at Central in support of the loss of her grandchild and of her long-time friend. She shared the cards with Ed and me and said, “Each card just made my day and were each a great comfort. Tell them at Central, thanks so much!” Thank you all for loving us by loving our Mom.               Ed Smith Family
