  Stacey Condron: “Prayer request update on my friend, Carla. This is from her husband Saturday (June 26): ‘Morning…..Carla had a good night. They are going to start weaning her off of the paralytic and turned the ventilator down to 70%!!!’” (Update from Tuesday, June 25th: “No changes other than a fever and the bacterial infection is trying to come back. Other than that, holding steady. Evening Tuesday report: No changes but she did blink when they put the drops in her eyes. Please continue to pray for Carla and her family. Thank you.”)

  Melanie Gipson: “Pray for Melanie Gipson’s friends both mentally challenged. Linda cannot walk and her daughter, Tonya, may be in group home soon as mom will go to a nursing home.”

  Joan Hacker: “Please pray for the NAMWINGAMA mission in Zambia. They are having a deadly Coronavirus surge in Zambia. Thursday (June 24) alone they had 3,594 new cases and 61 deaths.”

  Carol Kuhn: “We are grateful to God for Tonda being at home and starting to feel better. Please continue to lift her up in prayer for complete healing."

  Wade and Emilie Porter: “Prayers of thanksgiving that we are expecting baby Porter in early January! Please pray for a continued healthy pregnancy.”

  Louise Williams: “Pray for me and my dad (Johnny Powell). He will be in a respite facility for a week while I go on a much-needed vacation with my children.”

Thank you for the prayers, calls, texts, cards, get well wishes, food and the basket. I am well on the mend and can’t wait to be back among you all.

We are excited that The Rahimov Family (one of our missionary families in Tomsk, Russia) will be coming for a visit in July. Timur will be speaking on Sunday, July 4th.


Please mark your calendar for our Family Gathering on Sunday, July 11th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in honor of The Rahimov Family. Food will be provided.

Proverbs:  God’s Book on “How to Wise up and Live”

This class is, to borrow from Proverbs chapter 1,

for attaining wisdom and discipline,”

for understanding words of insight,”

for acquiring a disciplined and prudent life,”

for giving prudence to the simple,”

for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.” 

The gymnatorium will be available for those who want to participate in person, and a Zoom option will be available for those who want to participate online. Teacher: Ed Ditto

In the next few weeks, we will resume passing trays in the assembly for communion and contribution. For those who may be uncomfortable with this process, we will continue to have the prepackaged communion available at the door. For those who are unable to attend in person, we will have the prepackaged communion available in the office.


The church office will be closed Monday, July 5th, in observance of July 4th.
