CENTRAL CHURCH OF CHRIST WEDNESDAY NIGHT GATHERINGS

MAY 13, 2020

PRAYER REQUESTS

Follin Clark:Please pray for my dad who had a heart attack and is in open heart surgery this morning (Tuesday, May 12th). Thanks.” (Update: “He came through the surgery. They were only able to do 1 bypass. The doctor said the whole right side of his heart is calcified and hasn't been doing anything for quite a while. They did a bypass on the front left and are going to do a stent on the back left on Thursday. That is all they can do. Thank you for your prayers.”)

Rondell Crittenden is recuperating at home after having shoulder surgery Thursday, May 7th. Please continue to keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery.

Chiana Evans: “Please pray for my cousin, Eugene. He went into the hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL for respiratory issues and he is now in a coma.” (Update: “My cousin successfully awoke from his coma. His kidneys were not functioning correctly while he was asleep, so he is headed to dialysis. He is doing a lot better, glory to God. Thank you all for your prayers.”

Melanie Gipson: “My 21 years old son will be coming within 6 weeks to Alabama where he can visit me. He was adopted. I’m his mom. I love him. Looking forward to my visit.”

Joan Hacker: “I’m asking for prayers for the 20 years old daughter of a friend of my daughter, Cathy. Her name is Sarah Goad. She was in surgery Thursday for the removal of her entire colon due to severe infection. She will live with an ileostomy the rest of her life. Pray for her uncomplicated recovery from the surgery and for her adjustment of a different way of life. Pray also for her family to be able to help her through all of this. She is at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.”

Nikki Holley: “Thank you, God, for this beautiful spring weather.”

Minnie Teague is asking for prayers for her faith, strength and comfort on this first Mother’s Day without Louis.”

SUNDAY MORNING CLASS WITH ROBERT WADE

Join Robert Wade this Sunday, May 10rd, at 9:00 a.m. as he continues The Parables class. Please note that in conjunction there is a short lesson for our children by Tim and Jimi Johnson – so children, get your Bibles ready. Robert is putting a coloring page on the back of the lesson (which will be emailed to everyone before Sunday) for our children of all ages.
