PRAYER REQUESTS
Ryan Bell
requests prayers for his wife, Lindsay, and his two sisters-in-law, Meri
Brown and Jessica Ford, who will be
traveling today (Sunday, February 14th) back from Florida a day
early from their short vacation because of the expected bad weather. (Update:
They arrived home safely.)
Nathan Brown: "A
dear friend and brother of mine, Eric Corder,
has COVID-19. He was readmitted to MICU and put on a ventilator earlier
Monday, February 15. He has taken a turn for the worse and they are preparing
to transfer him to Vanderbilt. Please beseech God on his behalf." (Update:
“They did not transfer him to Vanderbilt. He is doing better. His relapse
was bacterial pneumonia, and they are treating him with an IV delivered meds.”)
Connie Binford:
“Please keep Gerry in prayers as he continues to deal with his asthma.”
(Update: Gerry is doing some better, but still having some problems.
Please continue praying for him.)
Tony and Mary Callins:
“Ayesha Bhatnagar, our sister who is currently living in Colorado
requests prayers for her faith to sustain her as she undergoes trials of many
kinds but specifically this week she is facing health
trial. Please pray that she will receive favorable results from the biopsy she
is scheduled to undergo Friday, February 19. Last week diagnostic results
revealed three masses and as anyone can imagine she is overwhelmed.”
Please continue to keep Johnny Powell
in your prayers. He is now home after being in rehab.
Reynolds:
“1) Please pray God’s wisdom, strength, and peace for Lance and Jodi Moore.
2) Please pray for Lisa Cooper’s family. Lisa’s mom, Brenda S.
Cooper, passed away of COVID related systems. Her funeral was Sunday,
February 14th, at the New Hope Funeral Home.” (Update: Notes of
sympathy may be sent to Lisa Cooper, 12030 Comanche Trail, Huntsville,
AL 35803.)
Sue Underwood:
“Vickie Cook had another TIA Sunday and was admitted to the
hospital. It did affect her speech for a short while, but she is okay now
and is at home. She will see her specialists soon to assess the MRI
further and recommend additional treatment. She is on a blood thinner right
now. Please keep her in your prayers!"
Drue Wright:
“Prayers for Claudia Ford’s pain relief and healing. She fell Friday
(February 12th) and fractured her humerus just below her shoulder.
She has an appointment with a shoulder surgeon in the morning (Monday, February
15th) at 9:00.” (Update: Due to the weather Claudia’s
appointment on Monday was canceled. She is to see the doctor this afternoon –
February 17.)

Thank you to the church for the goody and fruit basket that Juanita
made and brought to us. We appreciate all the cards from well-wishers at
church. We both have gotten our 1st vaccination and will get #2 on
2/23. Will be so glad to get COVID 19 behind us. We love you all. Bill and Sheril
