REJOICE
We rejoice with the angels over the birth of a brother.
Eli McMeans, a resident at His Way, was baptized Sunday,
January 31st. Please welcome and encourage our newest brother.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Please
keep Bobbye Ashley in your prayers as she is in rehab in Florence, AL
after having surgery. Cards/notes of encouragement may be sent to her – Bobbye
Ashley, c/o Dr. Tim Ashley, 6125 County Road 47, Florence, Alabama
35634.)
Greenleafs: “1) Please continue to pray for our neighbor, Erskine Valerie.
His progress is slow. 2) Please pray for Christine Clouser Alexander who
lost her husband, Wes, January 2. He was 34.”
Mike Porter asks us to pray for Greg Parker,
who is a good mutual friend of his and Sam O’Hanian. Greg is an
elder at the Chase Park Church and has recently been diagnosed with an
aggressive cancer. Mike said, “I know several folks have sent me cards –
for me it's a reminder that I have cancer, but it does lift your spirits to
know that folks are lifting your name to the Lord. Greg feels terrible –
but he knows the power of prayer. I'm sure it would lift his spirit.” Notes of encouragement
may be sent to Greg Parker, 2351 Villaret Drive, Huntsville, AL. 35803.
Johnny
Powell will be in
rehab at least for one more week, possibly two at the most. They have moved him
to a different room. His address is 2061 Poole Drive North, Huntsville, AL
35810.

serious condition. Lisa is also positive but asymptomatic.”
