REJOICE

We rejoice with the angels over the birth of two college students. Alisha Holman and Erica Johnson were baptized Sunday, January 19th, at the College/Teen Family Vacation. Please welcome and encourage our newest sisters.

PRAYER REQUESTS

  Mason Byrd: “Please pray for my daddy, Chris Baker, because he has the flu.”

  Richard and Sandra Brown:Bobby Ashley is not well. She would appreciate our prayers.”

  MyAjia Campbell: “I pray for traveling grace. I pray for a stronger heart for God. I pray that while in Ohio I continue to follow God and not of the world. I pray to get on my feet and learn to be proud of my achievement. I pray to be a positive influence on my family. Pray that I am strong enough to stay away from people and situations that upset me. I pray to break away from toxic things I’ve been conditioned into. I pray for all the help I can get when going back.”

  Condrons: “Pray for the family of Frank Coseglia whose father died this past Thursday and for Grace Ragland’s family. Grace died this past Thursday. Pray for their comfort and peace during this time.”

  Martez Gordon: “Prayer request to continue to grow spiritually, financially, mentally, and emotionally.”

  Steven Huie: “Pray for Mr. Tom to get well and all my brothers and sisters of the world. And all my brothers at His Way. We can do this.”

  Lance and Jodi Moore: “We ask for prayers for Brandon, John, Hunter and all the men at His Way.”

  Brandon and Jessica Ogle: “Continue to pray for the Olive FamilyGale, Jessica’s grandmother is really struggling after the loss of her husband, Ron. And pray for safe travel as Brandon leaves on business this week.”

  Don and Janice Phillips: “Please pray for our friend, William, who is very sick right now and his family. Thank you.”

  The Preer Family: “Please pray for Mrs. Jennifer Ewards and family for the loss of her older brother.”

  Donna Roshell: “Pray for Shay – her father passed this week. Pray for my sister, Kelley. Pray for strength, comfort and peace as she deals with the death of family and close friend; also with the health issue of her husband along with the regular duties of being a wife and mother. Her husband, Robert, has issues with circulation in his legs. Pray for him also.”

  Caleb Simmons:Delora Ward, my grandma, is expected to pass at any time. Pray for mom to have strength as she cares for her and for my grandpa.” (Update: Mrs. Ward passed away this morning, January 29th. See article.)

SYMPATHY

Our sympathy is extended to The Simmons Family in the passing of Charlotte’s stepmother, Delora Ward, this morning (January 29th). There will be a private service for her. Charlotte requests our prayers for their family, especially her father, Robert Ward.

THANK YOU

Thank you all for your many prayers for our son, Colby. He is back at work and doing well after having two heart stents placed in one artery Thursday, January 23rd. Please continue to keep him in your prayers as he completely heals.                                       Love,

HELP NEEDED

Servants are needed to serve in the Nursery during Sunday Assemblies. A signup sheet is posted outside the nursery or contact Cathy Farless at 256-509-3541 (text or voice) if you are willing to help.

SERVANTS NEEDED!

CENTRAL ADULT WEDNESDAY NIGHT CLASSES

Adults, please join us in the auditorium tonight for another lesson on our Saints and Sinners in the World series. Our guest speaker, Bob Rieder, will present our third part of a four-part segment on how Christians can live in redemptive ways alongside those who experience same-sex attraction. Bob serves as an elder at the Mayfair Church of Christ.

HURRICANE DORIAN RELIEF EFFORTS REPORT

A report from the Westridge Church of Christ concerning the Hurricane Dorian Relief Efforts from September 2019 – January 2020 in the Bahamas is available for you to pick up on the kitchen ledge in the Fellowship Hall.
