PRAYER REQUESTS

  Nathan and Deborah Brown: Beverly Barton, sister-in-law of Johnnie and Sue Ellen Barton, passed away Friday. Please keep the family in your prayers.”

  Jon and Pat Canterbury request prayers for their son, Colby Canterbury, who will be having a heart catheterization tomorrow afternoon. Please pray for good results and/or easy fixes.

  Condrons: “Pray for my friend, Grace Ragland. She is in Hospice – unresponsive – it could be hours or days. Pray for peace and comfort for her and for her family and friends.”

  Arzell Flint: “First, I thank God for the Central Family, for your prayers. I am going for my second interview for a job. Please pray for me. Thank you very much.”

  Cody Hardin: “Please pray for my wife, Belle, and my mother-in-law, Meri, as they finish their last couple semesters at UNA. Pray for strength and encouragement. Thank you.”

  Clay Kuhn: “I hope that my dog will not die from her congestive heart failure.”

  Bill Kuhn: “My sister, Geri, is in the hospital. Please pray for her healing.”

  John Kuhn Family: “Prayers for Sarah’s educational direction and healing of her challenges.”

  Tim Lewis: “Please pray for the family of Beverly Barton, who passed away this week. She was the wife of Bob Barton, my co-worker, who is the brother of Johnnie Barton, who is a former member at Central.”

  Jeff Norville: “Please pray for me and my son (Jace) for growth in our relationship and for God’s plan in court for us.”

  Ogles: “Pray for the Olive Family dealing with the death of RonJessica’s grandfather. Also, prayers for our friends as Barr and Casey Harris as they are struggling with life, help us to bring them to Christ.”

  Grant Ralph: “Thank you for all your prayers. The PET scan came back negative for cancer! Praise God!”

  Jo Whitten: “Please pray for my son-in-law, Russ and Family. Russ’ dad (Eddie Nixon) passed to glory on Friday, January 17, with family around him. Thank you.” (Notes of sympathy may be sent to Mr. Nixon’s wife, Elaine Nixon, 7013 N County Rd 9, Wellington, CO 80549.)

CENTRAL ADULT WEDNESDAY NIGHT CLASSES

Adults, please join us in the auditorium again this week for another lesson on our “Saints and Sinners in the World” series. Tonight our guest speaker, Bob Rieder, will present our second part of a four-part segment on how Christians can live in redemptive ways alongside those who experience same-sex attraction. Bob serves as an elder at the Mayfair Church of Christ.

TUESDAY LADIES’ CLASS

Tuesday Ladies, Spring Session on the Psalms will begin 10:15 January 28. Please Note: Class will meet upstairs Room 200 (carpeted room) this day to give Happy Times space for School pictures. Please begin reading the Psalms on your own. Janice Greenleaf will lead the opening class. Earl Lavender sent in a note of thanks for the $3,600 donation Central made for his missionary work. He also wanted to express his appreciation for the work being done here at Central and prays that we continue our journey and expand the borders of the Kingdom.
