WELCOME
Kyearia
Booker met with some of the elders Sunday,
January 10th, saying she would like to work and fellowship with us
at Central. Kyearia is active in our campus ministry. Please welcome
and encourage her.
IN
THE HOSPITAL
Johnny
Powell
has been transferred to Regency Rehabilitation, Room 224 after having surgery
on his broken hip. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Dot Bowen: “Update on Mary Robinson’s
niece, Tiphany Crum. She went to the
hospital a week ago today; but was able to come back home. Mary said she
is doing much, much better and thanks the church for lifting Tiphany up in prayer.”
Chad
Dickey: “I would like to request prayers for my Mom at this
time who drove herself to the hospital today after experiencing some stroke
like symptoms. They’re currently trying to get her
transferred to a neurologist at a hospital in Jackson TN for further evaluation
and with COVID they’re not allowing my dad to get in and see her. Thanks."
Greenleafs: “1) Thank you for the prayers for our
daughter, Willa, and her husband, Jon. He is recovered and back
at work. Willa is almost fully recovered, not contagious and will return
to work soon. 2) Continue to pray for our neighbor, Erskine. He had a
set back and was put back on the ventilator.”
Update on Tim and Jimi Johnson from
their daughter, Skadi, Sunday, January 17:
“Mom had a better day yesterday. I’m hoping that will
continue today. Dad is still doing well – just really tired.” (Update today: “Skadi is now with her parents and said that they are
tired and sleeping a lot, but she thinks that they are on the upswing. Notes of
encouragement can be sent to Tim and Jimi Johnson, 3102 Country Club Road, Sanford,
FL 32771.)
Donna Roshell:
“My friend, Patricia, asked me to pray for her mother, Pauline.
She has blood around her heart and refused treatment. She’s
99 years old and has dementia. She also asked me to pray for Marva, Adriane,
and Eric. Please join me in prayer.”
Louise Williams’ update on her dad, Johnny Powell:
“Dad is doing pretty good, all things considered. Will update tomorrow (Monday,
January 18th) on where he will go for rehab.” (Update: Johnny
has been transferred to Regency Rehabilitation, Room 224.)
Drue Wright: “Need the prayers of my brother and

without glasses. Pat
Canterbury
Prayers of thanksgiving. My
brother was released from the hospital on Friday evening. He was so sick at one
point; the doctors were expecting to send him to rehab and he would require
24/7 care after that. All praise to God! He was able to go straight home and is
doing remarkably well. Thank you all for your prayers during this challenging
time. Sandra James
