PRAYER REQUESTS
Please
pray for Deborah Brown, who will be having surgery on her Achilles
tendon Wednesday, January 6th.
Daniel
and Stephanie Lewis
ask for prayers for Stephanie’s cousin, Jessica
and her family. Her husband, mother-in-law, and 4-year-old son are positive for
COVID, and she and her 6-year-old son are presumed positive. They ask us to
please pray for mild symptoms and a quick recovery.
Kathleen
Lowery’s brother, sister-in-law, and her 90-year-old
mom have tested positive for COVID. They have begun the IV treatments. So far,
their symptoms are mild. Prayers for Betty Caldwell and Bruce and Pat
Caldwell.
Update
from Claudette Thompson (sister of Juanita Crittenden’s) sent Monday, December 29th:
“No lymph/tumor detected. Went from 4 cm to undetected. Doctor says I’m doing perfect. God’s grace…prayers of the righteous
availeth much!!! Please share my news with your church family. I know they are
praying diligently for me. I’m asking God to end my chemo
sessions. The doctor said she will decrease it Thursday – the time and dosage,
but I want them to cease. You had to see the look on my doctor’s face. She was
in awe. She predicted it would decrease, but not this fast.”
Underwoods: “Please keep The Townsleys in
your prayers. Bill had another fall and broke the same hip he was just
recovering from. They are not doing surgery at this time, but he is confined to
a wheelchair from 6 to 8 weeks to see if the break will heal this way. Kay
and Jack have moved in with them again to help.”
Louise
Williams:
“My dear friend, Margie Nix-Ireland, of Greenville, North Carolina, died
on December 23 of COVID-19. Pray for peace and comfort for her siblings in
Nashville and her adult children. Thanks.”
